Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, referring to the Decree of the President of Russia, announced the extension of the length of stay of Uzbeks in the Russian Federation.
In accordance with the new procedure, from 15 March to 15 June 2020 (90 days), the following terms are suspended:
- temporary stay of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation;
- the validity of documents such as a temporary residence permit, residence permit, migration card stamped with expiring notes, work permit and patent.
Thus, in the indicated period, foreign citizens do not need to take any action to extend the terms of temporary stay, the terms of registration at the place of stay, the terms of temporary and permanent residence (including the extension of a residence permit), the validity of work permits, patents and other permits documents.
In addition, from 15 March to 15 June 2020, subject to the established restrictions and sanitary-epidemiological measures, the right to attract and use foreign workers and stateless persons without a work permit is granted a patent.
With respect to foreign citizens and stateless persons, no decisions are made on the undesirability of their stay, on administrative expulsion from Russia, on deportation or transfer to a foreign state, on the deprivation of refugee status, temporary asylum, on the cancellation of visas, work permits, patents, types of residence and others.
