The Ministry of Finance publishes a list of food products, exempted from VAT

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan has published a list of food products produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the sales turnover of which is exempted from value added tax.

The exemption from VAT exemption applies to the wholesale and retail sales of food products produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The list includes meat (beef, lamb, kuratin), as well as animals (livestock and poultry) in live form and products of their slaughter, fish, potatoes, onions, eggs, rice (all varieties) and sugar.

The exemption on exemption from value added tax is used in the production and sale of bakery products.
