Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A Government resolution approved the Regulation on the Department for the Development of the State Language.

According to the Regulation, the Department for the Development of the State Language is a structural unit of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Regulation defines the main tasks of the Department.

Among them, the preparation of proposals for the development of the state language, the identification and preparation of proposals to address the problems associated with the operation of the state language, the development of norms and rules for the written text of the Uzbek language.

The structure of the Department is approved by the President.
