Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Main Archival Administration under the Cabinet of Ministers will be transformed into the Uzarkhiv Agency.

Among others, the main tasks of the Agency are as follows:

- ensuring the practical implementation and implementation of effective monitoring of compliance with legislation in the field of archiving;

- the formation, preservation, state accounting and use of documents of the National Archival Fund;

- management of the state archives of the republic, ensuring their functioning;

- organization and coordination of scientific and methodological work in the field of archival studies and archeography.
