‘The Lion King’ Director Rob Minkoff Discusses Full-Length Animated Film Project with Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Collaboration between Uzbekistan and Hollywood in the field of animation is reaching a new level.

Jahongir Akhmedov, Head of the Center for the Development of Children’s Content, held discussions with Rob Minkoff, the renowned director of The Lion King.

During the meeting, the parties explored the possibility of jointly producing a full-length animated feature, which is already approaching the practical stage of implementation.

Minkoff confirmed his readiness to finalize all necessary agreements for the project. The title and concept of the upcoming animated film will be announced to the public in the near future.
