The legal basis for hunting and hunting activities is being improved

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Senators at the fifth plenary meeting considered the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Hunting and Hunting”.

It was noted that at present, relations in the field of hunting are regulated by more than 10 regulatory legal acts, which in turn leads to various contradictions and interpretations, as well as difficulties in law enforcement practice.

In addition, the absence of the main directions of state policy in this area, an effective system of conducting state monitoring of the state of wild animals, and the absence in the legislation of norms on the rights and obligations of hunters and hunting farms impede the determination of the status of animals caught. This prevents the development of a system of state monitoring of the animal population, the study of the number of animals that are hunted, and the volume of hunting, the reproductive state of animals.

Full use of the possibilities of hunting tourism in the country, in particular, attracting foreign tourists to hunting will increase foreign exchange earnings to the State budget. And breeding, restoring and increasing the animals used for hunting contributes to financing costs.

The Law “On Hunting and Hunting” reflects solutions to these issues. That is, attention is drawn to ensuring the direct operation of the articles of the Law. For example, the main directions of state policy in the field of hunting and hunting are identified. It is established who keeps a record of the number of wild animals and wild animals harvested.

At the same time, the necessity of regulating the number of wild animals and counteracting the spread of infectious diseases among them is substantiated.

The adoption of the Law contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for the protection of the environment through the rational use of hunting resources. It is also important for strengthening state control over regulation of the rules on keeping the numbers of wild animals, increasing their numbers and production, developing hunting tourism and improving the condition of hunting farms. Senators approved the law.
