Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On the order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 3 October 2019, Obid Arzikulovich Khakimov was appointed as the director of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It has been established that the Deputy Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the development of economic sectors, the implementation of investment and foreign trade policy is simultaneously the director of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms. Prior to this appointment, O. Khakimov worked as the head of the Department for the Protection of Citizens’ Rights, Control and Coordination of Work with Appeals of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

By order of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 22 October 2019, Umid Kutpitdinovich Abidkhodjaev was as appointed deputy director of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

By the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 3 October 2019, the position of the deputy center is equated to the position of the head of the sector of the Presidential Administration.

In 2014, he began working at the Asian Development Bank’s think tank, the Asian Development Bank Institute in Tokyo, Japan, as a Researcher and Project Consultant, and since 2017, as the Chief Advisor for Infrastructure Investments.
