The installation of equipment at large facilities starts at the new EUROCEMENT group plant in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of EUROCEMENT group Mikhail Skorokhod paid a working visit to Uzbekistan, where he met with Chairman of the Board of the Association Uzpromstroymaterialy Botir Zaripov together with representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as with the management of Beijing Triumph International, a contractor Engineering Company (BTIEC), which is constructing a new cement plant at the site of the existing Akhangarantsement

Mikhail Skorokhod discussed the implementation stages and development prospects for the building materials cluster with the head of the Uzpromstroymaterialy Association, including the construction of a new cement plant, the introduction of innovative technologies for the production of earthquake-resistant reinforced concrete products, the production of refractories, the production of modern building materials to provide the construction complex of Uzbekistan with popular products.

At a meeting with representatives of BTIEC, the construction of a new cement plant was discussed in detail. The parties also discussed the tasks of training personnel for the operation of a high-tech enterprise.

Most of the general construction work has been completed, metal structures and equipment are being installed. In particular, the installation of the heat exchanger is being completed, the installation of the main technological filters, smoke exhausters, clinker refrigerator, stacker and stacker in a warehouse of limestone, clay, and a raw mill is being carried out at a fast pace. Welding and preparation for installation of the furnace body are in a high degree of readiness.

The new cement plant will become the largest in Central Asia in terms of productivity of the main technological equipment. The company’s products will provide demand for basic building materials for the implementation of housing and infrastructure construction projects.
