The Governor of Ferghana Region Discusses Expansion of Cooperation with Chinese Investors
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Governor of Ferghana Region, Khairullo Bozorov, received a large delegation led by Fan Yujin, founder of the Jiangxi Chamber of Commerce in Shandong Province (China) and chairman of Shandong Sanlixing Holding Group.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation. The regional governor emphasized that relations between Uzbekistan and China, built on mutual interest, equality, and openness, are developing dynamically.
Regular dialogue and effective interaction at the leadership level of both countries contribute to the further strengthening of ties.
Special attention was given to China’s investment activity in Uzbekistan. It was highlighted that Ferghana Region and Shandong Province have established strong business relations, with promising joint projects currently underway.
Information was presented on the investment potential of the region, the creation of industrial zones and tech parks, and favorable conditions for foreign investors.
Fan Yujin noted that a reliable partnership between the two countries encourages Chinese entrepreneurs to conduct business and implement investment projects in Uzbekistan. The Chamber of Commerce, which unites over 200,000 entrepreneurs, plans active cooperation in Ferghana Region, with leading companies expressing interest in investing.
The Governor of Ferghana Region expressed readiness to support every proposal and modern project presented by Chinese investors. Agreements were reached on further measures to expand investment volumes and implement joint projects.
Currently, Ferghana Region hosts 833 enterprises with foreign capital, of which 251 involve Chinese investment.
