The Government increases gas tariffs from 16 November
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 16 November 2018, tariffs for natural gas will increase in Uzbekistan.
On 16 November 2018, the Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On phased change in prices and tariffs for fuel and energy resources”.
According to the resolution, from 16 November, 1 cubic meter of gas for population with gas meters will be 320 soums versus the current 289.74 soums. At the same time, from 1 June 2019, gas prices will rise to 350 soums per 1 cubic meter.
In the absence of gas meters, the price of gas from 16 November will amount to 320 soums for heating and 553 soums per 1 cubic meter for cooking and hot water. From 1 June, tariffs will rise to 350 soums and 605 soums, respectively.
The government raised prices for liquefied gas from 800 soums to 950 soums from 16 November and to 1,200 soums from 1 June 2019.
