Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 15 August 2018, tariffs for natural gas will increase in Uzbekistan.
On 30 July, the government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On changing prices and tariffs for fuel and energy resources”.
According to the resolution, from 15 August, 1 cubic meter of gas for the population in the presence of gas meters will be 380 soums versus the current 320 soums (+ 18.7%).
In the absence of gas meters, the price of gas from 15 August will amount to 380 soums for heating (now - 320 soums) and 660 soums per 1 cubic meter for cooking and hot water (553 soums).
The government raised prices for liquefied gas from 950 soums to 1,120 soums from 15 August.
