The government delegation of Uzbekistan was received by the Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 September, the governmental delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan was received by the Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed al-Maktoum.
During the reception, the course of implementation of the strategic partnership between the two countries, affecting a wide range of areas of cooperation, was discussed: improving the work of state bodies, expanding investment and trade and economic cooperation, and participating in large-scale transnational projects.
It was noted that the success achieved so far in the multifaceted relations between the two countries is the result of the consistent and coordinated efforts of both parties, in connection with which it is important to adhere to the selected vector and the pace of further partnership.
It was agreed that in order to ensure the accelerated implementation of the initiatives being developed on a bilateral basis, step-by-step monitoring of the state of interagency cooperation and monitoring of emerging issues and barriers will be carried out.
The Emirate side, emphasizing the special importance attached to relations with Uzbekistan, for its part, announced its intentions not to be limited by the scope of existing agreements and actively involve new companies in the implementation of promising ideas and investment projects in the Republic.
