Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The AKIS Center for Agricultural Knowledge, Innovation and Services became the launching pad for the first "AGROMARAFON" in Uzbekistan, organized with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan by the Agency for Youth Affairs, the Council of Young Farmers of Uzbekistan, the European Organization for International Cooperation with the participation of the Tashkent State Agrarian University and a number of other organizations and companies.

The opening of the marathon at the central site of AKIS was held with the participation of about 100 young agrarians - farmers, novice agricultural entrepreneurs and students of the Tashkent State Agrarian University. The event turned out to be motivational and bright, especially thanks to the speakers involved, who shared their success stories with young people, as well as recommendations tested on personal experience.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Director General of the National Center for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture, Professor Alisher Turaev, as well as the khokim of Tashkent region Davron Khidoyatov made a welcoming speech.

The organizers noted that this marathon with the participation of successful agricultural entrepreneurs and farmers of the republic will serve as a guide for young people, a platform for mutual communication, exchange of experience, teach how to prepare business plans and, in general, competently start their own business in agriculture. In the future, this new knowledge will open up opportunities for novice farmers to enter world markets.

At the opening of AGROMARATHON - within the framework of a special training "Management in agribusiness" - experienced representatives of modern agricultural enterprises spoke to the participants. Dildora Atajanova, director of Teodora Goods, Mansur Rakhimov, director of Mevali Plants, Elmurod Pirnazarov, director of MOST BUSINESS LLC, VESAGRO director, agroblogger Ormonali Usmanov, founder of AGRO EXPORT GROUP LLC, Sanjar Karimov, and gardening consultant, spoke about the specifics of entrepreneurial activity in the agricultural sector. The speakers also answered questions from young people.

Then the marathon will go to the regions of the republic. The main target audience will be young people who received land for the development of agriculture within the framework of socially oriented state support for youth.
