The first Wine Festival to be held in Tashkent in late November

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The First Wine Festival “Art of Winemaking”, held at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan and organized by Uzsharobsanoat (Uzbek Wine Industry) with the support of members of the organizing committee, will serve as the beginning of expanding the horizons of new winemaking, enhancing participation and developing cooperation of foreign specialists and wine, tourism and other sectors of the economy.

It will be an unusual festival, educational, scientific and entertainment events. Its rich program will provide ample opportunities to get acquainted with the art of winemaking in different countries, exchange experience at master classes and present the achievements of the wine industry at the exhibition, during which all work days will be held presentations and tastings of not only domestic but also foreign wines.

One of the landmark events of the Festival will be the I International Scientific and Technical Conference "Innovative technologies in winemaking and viticulture", which will be attended by leading experts from Russia, Italy, Bulgaria, France, Georgia and other countries.

The upcoming concert and entertainment program of the Wine Festival will reveal the huge tourism potential of Uzbekistan, the original culture and art, folk art and national cooking in various regions of the country.

The festival will be held on 21-23 November 2018 in the Uzexpocenter.
