Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 July, a press event was held, where representatives of the building companies Murad Buildings and Ozguven told media representatives about the progress in the construction of a 50-story building being erected in the Tashkent City center.
The construction of a large-scale project on the territory of the future IDC “Tashkent City” - lot N4, was taken over by the domestic company “Murad Buildings” and Turkish “Ozgyuven”. A skyscraper with a height of more than 215 meters will be erected on the territory of just over one and a half hectares. The official name of the object will be announced after August 15.
During the presentation, the founder and head of Murad Buildings, Murad Nazarov, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ozgyuven, Ozgur Ozgyuven, showed photos of the country’s first skyscraper, which will be erected at the 4th lot, and shared with the press the details of the project. The speakers stressed that the main feature of the object will be that upon completion of construction it will be the first skyscraper in the country, and Uzbekistan will be the owner of one of the tallest buildings in Central Asia with original architectural solutions.
Murad Nazarov said that over 500 specialists worked on the development of the project, and the whole team worked to ensure that the first skyscraper was worthy of the vision that the President had defined for the country.
“The President shared his clear vision of the development of the future of Uzbekistan, which does not cease to inspire many, including us. Inspired by his vision, we had the opportunity to participate in an international project - the Tashkent City Shopping and Entertainment Center. For almost two years we have been working on this project with great enthusiasm and the desire to implement it in the best possible way. We are pleased that we have found reliable partners in the face of Ozgyuven, and now we are moving together to make this big dream come true. We want this project to become a model of modern and innovative architectural solutions, worthy of a place in the heart of the city,” Murad Nazarov told reporters.
Ozgur Ozgyuven in his speech noted that from the point of view of architectural significance, the project contains many innovative concepts used for the first time. Mr. Ozgyuven said that their team has been working on the project for more than 4 months, and shared a number of technical characteristics of the future building:
“We are happy that we can take part in this project, located in the very center of Central Asia, in the heart of the Silk Road. In addition to our own know-how, we recruited professors from major Turkish universities to work and received advice and support from many other specialist
Research and design work was carried out very thoroughly from both an architectural and an engineering point of view. During the construction of a skyscraper concrete category M700 will be used, whose strength is stronger than granite. Only from concrete, which will be used for the foundation, could be built 700 apartments with walls as strong as steel, and an area of 80 square meters each. Of the concrete that will be used for the entire facility, 5,000 such apartments could be built. If you add up all the iron fittings that will be used at the facility, its total length would be 7,500 kilometers. This is more than the distance from the Tashkent City Center to Istanbul and back. From this amount of iron can produce 25,000 luxury cars.
