The first meeting of the Uzbek side of the Uzbek-Indian Committee takes place
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first meeting of the Uzbek side of the Uzbek-Indian Committee on coordination and promotion of practical implementation of bilateral projects was held under the leadership of Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of India F. Arziev, heads of ministries and departments that are part of the Committee, as well as senior officials of the ministry and representatives of Andijan regional administration.
The meeting of the Committee was devoted to a detailed analysis of issues for each project, implemented jointly with leading Indian companies. Separately, projects to be implemented on the territory of the Andijan-Farm Free Economic Zone were considered.
They also considered proposals for the further development of relations with India, bearing in mind the achievement of new agreements on the implementation of investment projects and trade contacts, as well as the elimination of barriers to the increase in mutual trade.
As a result of the meeting, specific measures were identified that should be carried out on time to achieve the planned results for each project and agreement with Indian partners.
