The First Central Asia – European Union Tourism Forum to Be Held in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 November 2025, as part of the International Tourism Week, the first Central Asia – European Union Tourism Forum will take place.
The event will bring together more than 150 representatives of tourism authorities, experts, and international delegations from Central Asian countries and the European Union. The forum’s main objective is to discuss current issues in tourism development and to expand regional cooperation.
The program includes panel sessions dedicated to the region’s tourism potential, the preservation of cultural heritage, and the introduction of digital technologies in the sector. Special attention will be given to dialogue between Central Asia and the EU, as well as experience-sharing and joint tourism initiatives.
Organizers note that the forum will serve as an important platform for promoting the region’s tourism potential, establishing new international partnerships, and strengthening cooperation between Central Asian countries and the European Union.
