Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The first 11 patients fully recovered from coronavirus in the clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy.

With the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health, they were carried out to the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation.

All the survivors arrived in the city of Tashkent from Turkey on a charter flight, 7 were placed in the Botanika sanatorium, and the remaining 4 were transferred to the Urtasaray quarantine center. After confirmation of the coronavirus infection, they were transferred to the multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy.

Among patients, 7 men and 4 women. 4 of them are from the capital, 4 from the Tashkent region, 2 from the Ferghana region and 1 from the Andijan region. The oldest of them is 51 years old, and the youngest is 23 years old.

To date, 225 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection throughout the country.

As of 23:00 hours on 19 April 2020, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan reached 1565.
