Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In accordance with the decision of the special republican commission, in order to create convenience for vehicle owners and provide benefits for expired documents:

- all permits (licenses and permits);

- identity documents (passport, residence permit of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Republic of Uzbekistan);

- documents required for driving a vehicle (insurance policy, power of attorney, documents confirming technical inspection).

The validity period of the above documents will be extended until 1 July 2020.

In this case, no obligations or other sanctions will be applied to legal entities and individuals in connection with the expiration of their validity.

This was announced today by the Interior Ministry spokesman Shohrukh Giyasov.
