Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Presidential Decree “On the State Program for the Implementation of the Action Strategy for the Five Priority Directions of the Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017–2021 in the Year of the Development of Science, Education and the Digital Economy” was approved.

The decree defines the tasks performed in the priority areas of the Action Strategy, the procedure and practice for their implementation.

In particular, in the field of Improving the system of state and social construction:

- from 2020, the system of "Electronic Parliament" has been introduced into the activities of the Legislative Chamber and Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- at the end of the year, monitoring will be conducted on how people evaluate each law adopted by the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, as well as its level of effectiveness;

- from 1 July 2020, a procedure is being introduced for regular hearing at meetings of the Legislative Chamber of information of the heads of state bodies and economic management bodies on a number of issues;

- starting from 1 August 2020, a system is being introduced to listen to reports of the ambassadors of Uzbekistan in foreign countries in the Senate, as well as to hold meetings of the Kengash and Senate committees with field visits;

- Until 1 July 2020, the mobile application of the Mening fikrim web portal will be launched.
