Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- After the announcement in our country of quarantine related to the spread of coronavirus, citizens began to ask questions about how the process of verification of electricity, gas, drinking and hot water meters would be organized, the city khokimiyat reports.

To clarify this issue and create amenities for the population, the Republican Anti-Crisis Commission approved the next protocol.

According to the document, prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection, ensuring the safety of the population, protecting the life and health of citizens and public utilities are important issues on the agenda during this period.

Therefore, the deadlines for considering applications for state verification of meters of natural gas, electricity, cold and hot water received through Public Service Centers have been extended until 1 September 2020.

In addition, the filing of lawsuits on debts for natural gas, electricity, drinking water and hot water of the population and social facilities, as well as their disconnection from the supply, was temporarily suspended.

Even in these test days, the Public Service Centers have not stopped their work. However, due to the fact that ensuring public safety is a priority for us, the Centers provide only electronic digital signature issuing services.
