The court has banned the sale of counterfeit HYUNDAI-branded equipment in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s justice authorities have confirmed the protection of the HYUNDAI CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT trademark following an appeal filed by GST OIL LLC.

According to the Ministry of Justice, an inspection revealed that E.S. LLC had been selling counterfeit products under this brand.

As a result of government intervention, the counterfeit equipment was removed from sale, and the court ruled that E.S. LLC must refrain from using similar trademarks.

In addition, the company was ordered to pay 10 million soums in compensation and 12 million soums in legal costs.
