Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - With a Government resolution, a Commission on Terms under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan was formed.

The resolution defines the main tasks of the Commission.

In particular, the Commission on Terms introduces into official use new scientifically sound words and terms, ensures compliance with the norms and rules of the literary language, as well as legal, technical and other special rules in bills.

The resolution approved the Regulation on the Commission on terms and its composition.

According to the regulation, the Commission carries out its activities on a voluntary basis.

The activities of the Commission are coordinated by the Department of State Language Development of the Cabinet of Ministers.
