The ceremony of laying the first stone of kindergarten laid

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A ceremony of laying the first stone in the construction of pre-school educational organizations was held in Kibray district of Tashkent region. The corresponding Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Preschool Education and LUKOIL in July 2019. The total amount allocated by LUKOIL for the implementation of the project is US$12 million.

This charity project is being implemented in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 839 “On measures for the establishment of preschool educational institutions by the Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company LLC. According to the project, multidisciplinary preschool educational organizations with 150 places will be built with a rehabilitation center for children with special needs in Tashkent and Kashkadarya regions, and in Bukhara region, a general type preschool educational institution with a capacity of 250 seats. In total, the construction of these kindergartens will increase coverage to 550 places.

“Coverage of children by preschool education is one of the most pressing issues in the system of preschool education. The Ministry of Preschool Education is actively working to improve the situation: new pre-school facilities are being built, existing ones are being repaired and increased, buildings that were previously in the Preschool Education Ministry’s structure and then redesigned are returned to the preschool education system. We are glad that business today wants to help children. Thanks to LUKOIL, another 550 children in the regions will have access to quality pre-school education. In addition to the pupils of the early childhood care centers, these rehabilitation centers will annually receive 5-7 thousand children who need the help of specialists,” said the Minister of Preschool Education Agrippina Shin.

The three-story building of the early childhood care institution in Bukhara and the adjacent territory with a total area ofmore than 11 thousand square meters m will be equipped with the latest technology and equipment, a swimming pool, dance and sports halls, a computer class, as well as group rooms. For active games and sports on the territory of the early childhood care institution in Bukhara, bicycle paths and playgrounds with grass and safe synthetic cover are provided.

The prototype of the project in Tashkent and Karshi oblasts will be the SDOO with the Imkon rehabilitation center in Nukus.

This project combines a preschool educational organization and a rehabilitation center for children with special physical and mental development. The new DOO will include modern LFK and physiotherapy rooms, massage rooms, a sensory room, a room for the development of fine motor skills, social adaptation, music and art therapy, as well as doctors’ offices.

According to the decree, the design, construction, equipping and commissioning of buildings and facilities is planned to be carried out before July 1, 2021.
