Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As previously reported, on 11 August, a meeting was held with representatives of the British company E2E SUPPLY LTD Sourcing & supply chain consultancy.
The videoconference, organized with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the UK, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, the Agency for the Promotion of Exports under the MIVT, the Association "Uztekstilprom", the Agency for Marketing and Advertising of Textile Products and industry enterprises from Karakalpakstan, Andijan, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Tashkent and Khorezm regions.
During the event, the parties discussed the state and prospects of possible cooperation and practical aspects of organizing the export of Uzbek textile products to the British market.
The head of the company, Neil Hackett, spoke about the activities of his company, which supports governments and companies of foreign countries in the development of reliable strategies for sourcing and establishing the entire international supply chain.
The British company has close partnerships with manufacturers from Southeast Asia, Europe and North Africa.
Based on the results of the direct dialogue between the companies of the two countries, priority areas were identified and an agreement was reached on further elaboration of cooperation issues.
