Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A presentation of a book entitled “President Mirziyoyev. Architect of the era of reform of Uzbekistan” was held at the China Institute of International Studies /CIIS/ under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

The book, published by the Shijie Zhishi Chubanshe Publishing House / Knowledge of the World /, includes 13 works by authoritative Chinese experts.

The book is expected to be an important aid for representatives of Chinese political-forming, scientific, academic and expert circles in a deeper understanding of modern reforms in Uzbekistan and the strategic impact of these processes on the long-term prospects for regional security and development in Central Asia, with which the interests of China are closely connected.

"The publication of this work is an important event in the history of Uzbek-Chinese relations," said Bahtiyor Saidov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to China, at a presentation, adding that the book presents the conceptual ideas of the authors to further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China at a new stage.

Saidov praised the scientific value and applied value of this book. "Of course, the assessments and initiatives set forth in the book are of great importance for the development of new practical proposals that contribute to the further development and strengthening of multifaceted and long-term cooperation between the two countries," the ambassador said.

The presentation was jointly organized by the China Institute of International Studies and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China.
