Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The 15th Anniversary Forum on Procurement, Professional Ethics, Management and Openness (PRIMO) will be held in Tashkent on 10-12 April 2019.

The corresponding decision to hold the Forum was made at the closing ceremony of the XIV Procurement Forum, Professional Ethics, Management and Openness (PRIMO) in the city of Budapest (Romania) on 10 May 2018.

The PRIMO Forum is an annual international event that serves as a platform for the exchange of practical experience in the field of public procurement reform among the participating countries (23 countries).

The holding of this forum in Uzbekistan will provide recommendations and suggestions from leading international experts on the further improvement of the public procurement system, as well as have a positive effect on the development of tourism, familiarizing the world community with the history and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

The event will bring together about a hundred delegates from 24 countries in Europe and Asia, including representatives of the governments of Russia, Poland, Georgia, Turkey, Kazakhstan and other countries.

Within three days, seven group discussions are planned on issues such as trends, problems and opportunities for the implementation of public investment projects, increasing the participation of private capital, PPPs, the legal and ethical foundations of procurement and management, the reorganization of the contract management system and others. Participants will be able to share experiences and learn best practices, establish business contacts and expand cooperation in the field to improve the quality of work.

On 12 April, following the results of discussions, final conclusions and recommendations will be presented.
