Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A test train was launched from the existing Shakhristan station to the new Turkistan station in Tashkent Metro.

The launch of the train confirms the readiness of the upper track of the new extended line on this section. At the station "Turkistan" the final construction, installation and finishing work is underway.

The next step will be the laying and running of the line to the Yunusabad station and obtaining a conclusion on the compliance of the facilities with the requirements of technical regulations and design documentation. This will be followed by the commissioning of an extended line and two new stations.

Construction objects will be commissioned in accordance with the project implementation schedule, in accordance with construction standards and technical requirements.
