Ten-year-old child dies in accident in Yunusabad district

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As a result of an accident with three cars, two people were injured, one child died in a hospital.

According to the Tashkent Main Internal Affairs Directorate, on 8 August at 7.30 a.m. there was a message on a traffic accident involving three cars at the intersection of Bogi Shamol and Yangi Shahar in Yunusabad district.

Hyundai car driver 34-year-old Sh.T. drove into the red light of a traffic light and collided with Cobalt car, which was driven by 29-year-old B.S., and Spark, which was driven by 24-year-old M.S.

As a result of the accident, the passengers of the Cobalt car received injuries: 40-year-old Sh.A. and 32-year-old MK, as well as a passenger of the Hyundai car, 10-year-old I.Sh.

All injured victims were hospitalized. Despite the efforts of doctors, 10-year-old I. Sh. died in the hospital.
