Temur Kapadze Named Among Top 10 National Team Coaches Worldwide by IFFHS

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Former head coach of the Uzbekistan national football team, Temur Kapadze, has been ranked among the top ten national team coaches in the world for 2025 by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).

According to the IFFHS voting results, Kapadze secured eighth place with 10 points, the same as Colombia’s head coach, Néstor Lorenzo.

The top spot was claimed by Spain’s head coach, Luis de la Fuente. Portugal’s Roberto Martínez took second place, while Argentina’s Lionel Scaloni ranked third.

The rest of the top ten included Ståle Solbakken (Norway, 4th), Thomas Tuchel (England, 5th), Didier Deschamps (France), Walid Regragui (Morocco), and Javier Aguirre (Mexico, 10th).

It is worth noting that in early December 2025, Temur Kapadze was appointed head coach of Namangan’s “Navbahor” football club.
