Temporary Changes Introduced to Several Bus Routes in Tashkent Due to Roadworks
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Bus routes in Tashkent have been temporarily altered due to ongoing repair works, the city’s Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development announced.
Route No. 61 will operate along A. S. Banokatiy, G. Aliev, Temiryulchilar, Small Ring Road, and Bobur streets. Route No. 106 will be redirected via Sarakulskiy Street, the Small Ring Road, and Bobur Street.
Route No. 40 will run along Bobur, the Small Ring Road, and Turkiston streets, pass through Tashkent railway station and Temiryulchilar Street, and terminate at the RET factory stop.
Buses on Route No. 66 will follow Kumarik, Bobur, Small Ring Road, and Turkiston streets, continue through Tashkent railway station, Mehrjon, 8 Marta, Eski Sarakul, Yangi Zamon, and Sarakul streets, and proceed along A. S. Banokatiy Street to the RET factory stop.
Route No. 52 will operate between Lokomotiv Street and Tashkent railway station.
City residents were urged to take the temporary changes into account and plan their journeys in advance. The department also warned that traffic congestion may occur during the repair works and said routes may be further adjusted if necessary.
