TemirYulKargo JSC and Pakistan’s IRT Chamber Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — TemirYulKargo JSC and the IRT Chamber of Pakistan have signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement aimed at strengthening friendly ties between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, expanding international freight transportation, and deepening regional integration.
Under the agreement, cooperation will be developed in several key areas: increasing multimodal freight transport between the two countries, creating a new transport corridor linking Pakistan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Northern countries, establishing a route connecting Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and other Northern countries, and expanding trade and economic relations through growth in exports, imports, and transit cargo.
Particular attention will be given to the development of transport infrastructure in both countries and the creation of joint mechanisms for multimodal, monomodal, and intermodal transport.
The strategic partnership is significant not only for the economies of Uzbekistan and Pakistan but also for the region as a whole. It opens new transport routes connecting Central and South Asia, increases access to seaports, and enhances the competitiveness of the international freight transport system.
The parties agreed to continue implementing joint transport and logistics projects, introducing advanced technologies, and strengthening regional economic ties.
Through this cooperation, TemirYulKargo JSC plans to strengthen Uzbekistan’s position on the international logistics map, enter new markets, and improve the quality of freight transport services at the global level.
