Television of Uzbekistan to China to establish cooperation
Innokentiy Huang said that CCTV-Russian sent an official letter to the Uzbek television and radio channel to establish partnership relations and received a positive response.
He said that currently creative groups of CCTV-Russian and television and radio company of Uzbekistan are working over joint projects.
Within the cooperation, the sides will exchange TV progammes, organize tours of journalists and technical personal, as well as their internships. The channel is planning to open its office in Uzbekistan.
CCTV-Russian started to broadcast its programmes on 10 September 2009. The channel is directed to familiarize Russian speaking audience with history, culture and life of China.
Major part of the broadcasting time is allocated to information programmes, but the channel has entertainment, educational and other programmes. The channel in particular has a programme Jdi menya, analogue of popular Russian progeramme.
