Telecommunications Services in Uzbekistan Reach 20.3 Trillion Soums in January–October 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, the volume of telecommunications services in Uzbekistan amounted to 20.3 trillion soums in January–October 2025, representing an 8.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
Telecommunications accounted for 33% of the total services in the communications and informatization sector.
The highest volume of services was recorded in the capital, Tashkent, where the figure reached 8.54 trillion soums.
Among the regions, Fergana and Samarkand regions led with 1.48 trillion soums each.
In other regions, service volumes ranged from 374.1 billion soums in Syrdarya region to 1.16 trillion soums in Andijan region.
Specifically, the Republic of Karakalpakstan provided telecommunications services worth 762.5 billion soums, Bukhara — 811.6 billion soums, Jizzakh — 478.6 billion soums, Kashkadarya — 1.05 trillion soums, Navoi — 493.2 billion soums, Namangan — 1.03 trillion soums, Surkhandarya — 823.5 billion soums, Tashkent region — 1.09 trillion soums, and Khorezm — 753.9 billion soums.
The growth in telecommunications services reflects the ongoing development of the communications infrastructure, the increasing number of digital service users, and the active introduction of new information technologies across the country.
