Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A technical inspection of cars belonging to individuals, from the date of production of which has passed up to 10 years, will be carried out on a voluntary basis.
On 28June, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to create additional amenities to the population when using vehicles”.
Earlier it was reported that from 1 July, the mandatory inspection of passenger cars is canceled in Uzbekistan, from the day of production, up to 10 years have passed.
The resolution notes that the mandatory inspection of cars, from the day of production of which has passed from 11 to 14 years, will be carried out once every two years. The vehicles, from the day of production of which fifteen or more years have passed, the inspection will be carried out once a year.
At the same time, these terms do not apply to passenger vehicles used in the transportation of passengers on a commercial basis.
