TBC Uzbekistan Reports 28% Profit Growth and 87% Revenue Increase for First Nine Months of 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — TBC Uzbekistan, the largest digital banking ecosystem in Central Asia, has published its consolidated IFRS financial results for the three- and nine-month periods ending 30 September 2025. The company demonstrated strong growth across all key indicators, driven by an expanding customer base, product diversification, and active ecosystem development.

The TBC Uzbekistan ecosystem includes one of the country’s largest digital banks, TBC Bank, the popular payment app Payme, the installment service TBC Nasiya, the digital insurance platform TBC Sug‘urta, and BILLZ — a leading SaaS platform for retail automation in Uzbekistan.

In the first nine months of 2025, TBC Uzbekistan’s operating income grew by 87% year-on-year, reaching 2,416 trillion soums. Net profit increased by 28% to 439 billion soums. The company’s loan portfolio rose to 11,752 trillion soums, while deposits reached 6,543 trillion soums at the end of the reporting period.

The number of unique users in the ecosystem reached 21.8 million, up 28% from the previous year. Monthly active users grew 16% to 5.7 million.

Payme continued to strengthen its market position, with the number of active merchants rising 90% to 13.2 thousand, reflecting expanded offerings for businesses. In September, over 10 thousand partners actively used QR codes for payment acceptance.

According to an independent brand study conducted in Q3 2025, TBC Bank became the most recognizable banking brand in Tashkent and ranked third nationwide.

Demand for new products remains high. Since launch, over 723 thousand Salom debit cards and 85 thousand Osmon credit cards have been issued. Salom Card quickly gained popularity as a convenient tool for everyday transactions, boosting customer engagement and encouraging the use of other ecosystem products.

The business loan portfolio increased by 34% over the quarter, reflecting growing demand from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). TBC Uzbekistan is actively developing a comprehensive offering for corporate clients, targeting an underserved niche in the SME market.

The Payme Plus subscription service, launched in 2025, is rapidly gaining traction, with 300 thousand active users by the end of September. In August, the program was enhanced with cashback, benefiting 67 thousand subscribers.

In August, TBC Bank Group agreed to acquire a controlling stake in OLX Uzbekistan, the country’s leading online classifieds platform, from the international technology group Prosus. OLX Uzbekistan ranks among the six most visited websites in the country, with 5.4 million monthly active users and 2.2 million listings. This acquisition allows TBC to enter a fast-growing segment and realize synergies across its ecosystem services.

In September, TBC Uzbekistan opened its services to non-residents, expanding its potential audience and promoting financial integration for foreign specialists, students, and entrepreneurs.

Additionally, TBC Group completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in BILLZ, the leading SaaS platform for retail automation. Integration with the TBC ecosystem has already begun, enabling partners to access credit products directly through the BILLZ interface. Further business products will be added to the platform over time.

The company continues to actively implement artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. By the end of September 2025, AI agents handled 90% of early delinquency reminder calls, while a virtual sales bot interacted with clients over 100,000 times per month. TBC Uzbekistan has also launched a voice bot and is preparing to roll out an AI assistant for the app in “Friends and Family” mode in Q4.

CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, Nika Kurdiani, commented: “TBC Uzbekistan continues to maintain strong growth momentum, delivering excellent financial results and strengthening its presence in both retail and corporate segments. We see high demand for our products, particularly Salom Card, which is becoming the main tool for everyday banking for an increasing number of clients.

Developing the business segment remains a key priority. SMEs are a critical engine of Uzbekistan’s economy, and our goal is to offer them modern digital solutions. Integration with BILLZ and the growing number of Payme partners open significant potential for creating a full-fledged banking services ecosystem for businesses.

The transition to AI banking is progressing rapidly. We have already achieved tangible improvements in efficiency and customer satisfaction and are preparing to launch a virtual assistant by year-end.

We are proud that TBC has become the most recognizable banking brand in Tashkent and ranks third in Uzbekistan. This reflects our hard work and the trust of our clients, to whom we provide simple and innovative financial solutions.”
