TBC Bank and Footballer Eldor Shomurodov Announce Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — TBC Bank announced a partnership agreement with Eldor Shomurodov, captain of the Uzbekistan national football team.

The athlete will serve as a brand ambassador and participate in initiatives aimed at promoting football among children and teenagers.

According to the bank, the cooperation will involve sports programs and events, media projects, and initiatives to expand access to football for children and families, including in regional areas.

Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, stated that the decision to enter into the partnership was made after exploring potential forms of collaboration. He emphasized that their joint efforts will focus on creating additional opportunities for youth.

Eldor Shomurodov noted that participating in the project will help support the development of young footballers and motivate aspiring players. He stressed that the parties aim for long-term cooperation with a practical impact on children.

As part of the partnership, plans include organizing masterclasses, training sessions, participation in sports events, and producing a documentary project highlighting the athlete’s professional journey.

To sign the agreement with TBC Bank, Shomurodov—currently on loan at Turkish club İstanbul Başakşehir and formerly playing for Italian club Roma—arrived in Tashkent.
