Tax incentives established for manufacturers of molded bread made from domestic flour

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Government adopted a resolution “On measures to further support grain processing enterprises and producers of shaped bread”.

According to the resolution, until 1 July 2020, the production and sale of molded bread made from flour produced using only domestic grain is exempted from VAT.

Starting 1 October 2019, grain processing enterprises that process imported grain, taxed with VAT upon import (import), determine the taxable VAT tax turnover in the manner prescribed by the Tax Code.

Also, in accordance with the amendments introduced by the resolution, in respect of legal entities, the exemption on VAT exemption for imported timber and wood according to the established list has been canceled.
