TATNEFT to start geological exploration in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- PJSC TATNEFT and JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" have signed a document on the main terms of the production sharing agreement at the Pritashkent investment block of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The agreement has been signed in the framework of the international exhibition "Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - OGU 2019".

According to the signed document, the parties shall apply the main efforts to the effective prospecting, exploration and development of hydrocarbon deposits in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The agreement signed between TATNEFT and JSC Uzbekneftegaz includes a general program for the project implementation with the Company analyzing and interpreting geological and physical materials in the territory of the Pristashkent investment block at the initial stage of the project.

When implementing the project, TATNEFT plans to use its own technical capabilities, experience, advanced methods and technologies for the exploration, field development and crude oil production.
