Tashkent to Host the IV Asian Youth Games

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Executive Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), which held its meeting in Bahrain, officially entrusted Tashkent with hosting the IV Asian Youth Games in 2029.

The decision was announced at the closing ceremony of the III Asian Youth Games. In four years, Uzbekistan will become the venue for competitions featuring the continent’s top young athletes.

The OCA flag was received by Otabek Umarov, OCA Vice President and First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, symbolizing the official confirmation of Tashkent’s right to host this prestigious sporting event.
