Tashkent to Host IAOM Eurasia 2026 Conference

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 March 2026, Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, met with Vural Kural, Executive Secretary of the International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM).

The main topic of discussion was developing cooperation in grain processing, implementing modern technologies, and strengthening knowledge exchange among industry specialists.

Special attention was given to organizing the IAOM Eurasia 2026 conference and exhibition, scheduled for September 28–29 in the Uzbek capital. Discussions focused on maintaining high event standards, attracting international participants, and establishing the conference as a key regional platform for sharing knowledge and best practices in the grain processing industry.

IAOM is one of the largest international professional organizations, uniting millers, experts, and business representatives. The association promotes education, modern technologies, and international cooperation through its branches in the United States and other countries.

Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to expand cooperation and implement joint initiatives aimed at modernizing and strengthening Uzbekistan’s grain processing sector.
