Tashkent Tightens Control Over Vehicle Advertising Without Permits

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Control over advertising on vehicles without proper documentation has been strengthened in Tashkent.

To identify vehicles carrying illegally placed advertisements and prevent violations, the Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent City Police, together with the Tashkent Hokimiyat and the Tashkent Territorial Office of the Committee for Competition Development, conducted a series of monitoring measures.

During inspections, vehicles were identified with advertisements that did not comply with the requirements of the Law “On Advertising” and Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 104 of 2020, which regulates advertising placement.

Measures were taken against violators in accordance with the law, and explanatory work was carried out with vehicle owners.

Systematic monitoring of compliance with legislation on the placement of advertising and informational materials continues.

City authorities remind that outdoor advertising, including on vehicles, is permitted only with an advertising permit, which can be obtained online through the my.gov.uz portal.
