Tashkent road traffic inspectors test body cameras

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent Main Department of Interior Affairs started to test so-called "body camera" for inspectors of the road patrol service.

The device is a synthesis of a video camera in its classical understanding and special hardware that produces a continuous audio and video recording of what is happening.

Moreover, the cameras do not allow to remove unwanted content or to edit it. In addition, the cameras are connected to a single centralized control system, which guarantees constant control over the daily work of the road patrol service inspector.

Based on the results of the experiment, which will take no more than a month, a decision will be made about the wider use of the camera in the activities of the road safety service.
