Tashkent region’s economy grows by 7.2% in Jan-Sep

It was noted that industrial output of the region rose by 13.8% in January-September 2015, agriculture production – 5.3%, services – 12.8%, retail trade – 15.7% and paid services – 12.2%.

Share of small businesses and private entrepreneurship in the gross regional product of the region reached 61.2%.

There are 71 large industrial enterprises in the region, which produced goods for 9.7 trillion soums. Small industrial enterprises manufactured goods for 2.3 trillion soums.

In the reporting period, the region produced goods for 88.2 billion soums within the localization programme. The goods for US$3.8 million were exported.
