Tashkent Region strengthens investment cooperation with Saudi Arabia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Tashkent Region Hokim Zoir Mirzaev held talks with Ibrahim Al-Mubarak, Assistant Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, both sides noted the steady development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia. The positive dynamic of bilateral relations was attributed to the open and trust-based dialogue between the leaders of the two countries.

Particular emphasis was placed on the strategic significance of Tashkent Region, identified as one of Uzbekistan’s most densely populated, economically active and infrastructure-driven territories.

Mirzaev highlighted the region’s potential for the implementation of large-scale investment projects in industry, energy, infrastructure, services and tourism. He underlined readiness to ensure a transparent and supportive environment for Saudi investors.

For his part, Ibrahim Al-Mubarak commended the constructive nature of the meeting, noting that Saudi businesses are interested in initiating and consistently implementing new joint projects with Tashkent Region.
