Tashkent Region Expands Cooperation with China in Vocational Education

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation led by Nasiba Kulbekova, Head of the Department of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Tashkent Region, is currently on a working visit to Jilin City, China.

During the visit, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between Bekabad Polytechnic and the Northeast Electric Power University (NEEPU) in the fields of artificial intelligence and modern technologies, as well as knowledge and experience exchange.

Following the meeting, Nasiba Kulbekova and University President Cai Guowei signed a memorandum of cooperation. The agreement provides for the exchange of students and faculty within programs focused on energy, renewable energy, smart technologies, artificial intelligence, and academic mobility.

The signing of the memorandum is significant for the introduction of advanced international experience into the vocational education system of Tashkent Region and will contribute to strengthening the region’s scientific and technological potential.
