Tashkent Region and Moscow Region Expand Cooperation in Healthcare

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Head of the Tashkent Region Health Department Torakul Arzikulov and Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government – Minister of Health Maxim Zabelin signed a series of memorandums on cooperation, the regional khokimiyat’s press service reported.

The documents provide for experience-sharing and internships for doctors from Tashkent Region at leading medical institutions in the Moscow Region.

The regional delegation, which included representatives of the healthcare system, took part in the 6th International Congress of Pediatricians, “Pediatrics as an Art,” held at the Moscow Region Government House.

The forum gathered more than seven thousand participants, including specialists from 75 regions of Russia and 28 countries from both near and far abroad.

The congress showcased the latest medical innovations, simulation platforms, advanced rehabilitation equipment, IT solutions, and digital healthcare technologies.

During the visit, representatives of Tashkent Region also actively participated in scientific and practical sessions.
