Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- 2GIS calculated Tashkent Recovery Index - it shows the level of economic activity of the population in comparison with the pre-crisis period.
The index was calculated by 2GIS analysts based on geoservice data that characterize the interaction of residents with business in cities. The main metrics are the search for services and goods in the city (shows the dynamics of demand) and the construction of routes to organizations (shows the availability of the business).
The study covered the capitals of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, 62 cities of Russia, 10 cities of Kazakhstan, 4 cities of Ukraine. 2GIS analysts examined the activity of geoservice users on 40 million devices in five countries.
The index is updated daily and is shown as a percentage for ease of perception. As of June 17, the Tashkent recovery index reached 56% of the pre-crisis level.
The gradual easing of the self-isolation regime and the associated increase in the activity of the population, new formats of companies’ work create the prerequisites for economic recovery. The index will allow to record the ongoing changes.
