Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Information Service of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs issued an official statement regarding a video circulating on social media that purportedly showed a fight between participants of a football match.

On 28 May 2025, at approximately 9:00 PM, a friendly football match took place at the "Zhar" stadium in the Shayhantahur district as part of the Likecup project, featuring artists and bloggers.

After the game, a citizen identified as O.U., born in 2004, staged a quarrel between the teams for promotional purposes and published the video.

Such actions, which disturb public order, carry legal responsibility.

Preventive talks were held regarding the incident, and the project’s activities have been temporarily suspended.

Currently, the identities of all participants have been established, and administrative measures are being applied to them in accordance with the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

The case materials have been forwarded to court.
