Tashkent–New York flight turns back due to passenger’s health

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  A Uzbekistan Airways flight was forced to return to its departure airport due to a passenger’s deteriorating health, the airline’s press service reported.

According to updated information, flight HY101 departed from Tashkent to New York at 06:47. However, the aircraft’s captain decided to request a return to the departure airport due to the condition of a 67-year-old Russian passenger.

The plane landed at Tashkent International Airport at 07:35, where a medical team was already on standby, as noted by the airline.
